The services in this field are centered on creating beneficial and advanced activities for children within the framework of children’s libraries.
Children's Libraries
Project Goals
- Childcare in Education and Culture: Promoting a love for reading and improving behavior through various activities that enhance their cognitive skills.
- "Read to Your Child" Activity: This library activity provides books and information for children through storytelling.
- Organizing Camps and Trips: For children to explore tourist and religious sites in Egypt.
- Encouraging Talent Discovery: Motivating children to discover their talents.
- Regular Health Check-ups: For disease prevention.
- Workshops for Parents: To raise awareness about important considerations in raising their children.
Pre-School Children's Libraries: The targeted children are those living in areas lacking sufficient educational and cultural services to improve children's skills and capabilities. Two libraries were established in Kafr El-Sherfa and El-Marg in 2009 and 2010.
- The libraries serve more than 200 children aged 2-6.
- They offer health, educational, and social services to both children and their families.
- 25 people work in various roles and tasks within the libraries.
